The monthly meetings of the John C. Fremont Chapter are held at 1:00 p.m. the third Saturday of each month unless otherwise specified. They are often held in the home of one of the members which may be in Minden, Gardenerville, or Carson City, or at a designated special location such as the Minden Library. A special guest presents an interesting program and refreshments are served.
Please email us for information about completing your DAR Application that will entitle you to submit to the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, located in Washington, D.C. It is the responsibility of the Chapter Registrar to assist you in obtaining your records of proof connecting your line to a Revolutionary War patriot. It takes some time to compile these records, but it is well worth the effort since they will be placed in the DAR files in Washington, D.C.
