September 18, 2004, 12 PM

The John C. Fremont Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution kicked off another season of patriotism at the Carson City Naval ROTC Center at Carson High School. The Commander and student officers gave us a tour of the classrooms, shooting range, clothing room, and other facilities.

Historic Sites of the Revolutionary War & Christmas Program

Our hostess, Judy Conrad, presented a video of historic revolutionary war locations around Boston & Bunker Hill from photos that they had taken on a recent trip to the area. The video was very professionally done. She also shared a recent video of quilts from the DAR museum in Washington DC. Paul entertained us with Christmas music on his beautiful organ. Toys and food were collected and given to the Family Support Council of Douglas County.
